We offer students the expertise of top communication scholars in their respective fields of intercultural communication, persuasion & social influence, public relations, and rhetoric & political culture.
Our undergraduate students graduate into jobs in many communication fields, such as public relations, political communication, and consulting. Our graduate students obtain communication industry jobs and become faculty members at some of the best research and teaching institutions in the U.S. and abroad.
We are proud to be part of the University of Maryland, a top 25 public research university in the United States. Located in College Park and Shady Grove, our programs provide students with internships in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metropolitan areas. We are also within 10 miles of the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress and the National Archives.
