Maryland@ECA, 2008
Faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduates from the Department of Communication at the University of Maryland will present research, attend meetings, hold offices, and receive awards at the annual convention of the Eastern Communication Association, May 1-4, 2008, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Two faculty members will be featured in "Spotlight on Scholarship" panels--Mari Boor Tonn and Trevor Parry-Giles. In addition, Visiting Assistant Professor Nneka Ifeoma Ofulue will receive the Top Paper Award from the Rhetoric & Public Address Interest Group for her essay entitled "Appeals to Religion and Science in American Evangelical Rhetoric of Biblical Manhood and Womanhood."
