Students Recognized as "Distinguished TAs"
Four teaching assistants/graduate students in the Department of Communication received the Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award from UM's Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE). Every spring, in conjunction with the Deans of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies, the CTE honors the most outstanding graduate teaching assistants at UM.
Tim Barney, Ioana Cionea, Ben Krueger, and Sejal Patel (below, left to right) were all identified by CTE as Distinguished TAs. Each student received a certificate of recognition at a reception sponsored by CTE at the Samuel Riggs Alumni Center on the UM campus.
