T. Parry-Giles Named Editor-Elect of Communication Quarterly

 

Associate professor Trevor Parry-Giles was named Editor-Elect of Communication Quarterly, a journal published by the Eastern Communication Association. His selection was approved by the ECA Executive Committee at the May convention in Pittsburgh. Parry-Giles will be responsible for editing Volumes 58-60 (2010-2012) of CQ.

Published first in 1953, under the title Today's Speech, Communication Quarterly includes over 50 volumes, has been edited by nineteen scholars from around the nation, and continues to publish the finest quality research in the communication discipline. Communication Quarterly is a scholarly, academic journal that publishes refereed manuscripts extending the understanding of human communication. CQ is philosophically committed to an eclectic approach and to the publication of high quality articles.

Parry-Giles began accepting manuscript submissions August 1, 2008. Information about CQ, submission guidelines, and a listing of editorial board members is available at the Editor-Elect's CQ information site.
