Briones Wins Arthur Page Society Award

BrionesM.A. student Rowena Briones has been notified of her third place award in the 2009 Case Study Competition in Corporate Communications, awarded by the Arthur W. Page Society.

Briones's submission for the Award was entitled "Did Wal-Mart Wake Up?" and her award carries an $800 cash prize and an awards presentation in New York City.

The Arthur W. Page Society in alliance with the Institute for Public Relations and the Council for Communication Management, sponsors an annual competition for the writing of original case studies by students enrolled in an accredited school of business, communication or journalism and who are pursuing a degree that focused on corporate communications and the practice of public relations.
