Department of Communication faculty members and Ph.D. alumni participated in the 15th Biennial Public Address Conference, hosted September 29-October 1 by Syracuse University's Department of Communication & Rhetorical Studies. The theme for this year's conference is “The Conceit of Context.” 

In Memoriam: Vincent Tran

The Department of Communication is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Vincent Tran, an undergraduate Communication major. According to the Diamondback, Mr. Tran, "a senior at the University of Maryland, died suddenly Friday night in his home...He was 22 years old." Mr. Tran was studying public relations and worked at the Terrapin Learning Commons desk in McKeldin Library.
