Susan McGreevy Hubbard (Ph.D., The University of Maryland, 1996), Visiting Assistant Professor. Her primary research interests are persuasion and attitude change, health communication, and communication theory. She is currently working on a National evaluation project for the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) investigating the dissemination and adoption of best practice guidelines in substance abuse treatment. She offers classes in persuasion and attitude change, research methods, communication theory, interpersonal communication, and communication and gender. Selected publications include Edward L. Fink, Stan A. Kaplowitz, and Susan M. Hubbard, "Belief Oscillation and Chaos" in Persuasion: Developments in Theory and Practice, ed. Pfau, M., & Dillard, J.P. [in press]. Selected conference presentations include "Changing Health Policy Using Communication Theory: The Forging of an Industry-University-Government Partnership" Panel presentation conducted at the International Communication Association, May 2001.
